Some of the players pull out of this year’s IPL because of their international commitments and other things. The players who pull out of this year’s IPL are Michael Hussey, Ricky ponting and Jacob oram. Michael hussey pull out of IPL because he wants to prepare for the Ashes 2009. His recent form is very horrible and if he keeps on playing like this he will be out of Australia’s team so he has decided to sit out of IPL. Ricky ponting pull out of this year IPL due to the hectic international schedule. For the last six he has been busy playing all the time. He has never been given a long rest. And this year if he plays in the IPL he might not get adequate time to prepare for the World t20 and Ashes. Jacob oram is in doubt for this IPL. In the India-New zealand series he struggled throughout the series. He struggled to find forms both with bat and the ball. He was out of the test series also. He said if he does not recover from the Achilles tendon injury he will not play in the IPL 2009 because he needs some time to get back before the world 20-20.
