Change of players between teams in IPL

IPL 2008 was a big hit as expected. Now all the players are looking forward to IPL 2009. For this year Auction took place and all the franchises have got only less number of players when compared to last year so some franchises decided to swap players. Robin Uthappa was given to Bangalore royal challengers in exchange of zaheer khan. Shikhar dhawan was given to Mumbai Indians in exchange of Ashish nehra. It was a bit surprising for many people because shikhar dhawan has performed well in the inaugural edition of the IPL and Ashish Nehra have not performed as expected. Many people later believed that this thing happened because last year Delhi daredevil’s was horrible except for Glenn Mcgrath. This move will definitely help Delhi in bowling department. For Mumbai Indians Shikhar dhawan will be an extra batsman. This year is the beginning of these things. In the upcoming years we can expect a lot of swaps like this.
